The BAS Mission
BAS empowers
and improves the lives and circumstances of
adults and adolescents in the Bronx who are
HIV positive or at risk and lack resources
to meet their daily needs.
Since HIV is spread primarily
through sexual practices or by sharing
needles, prevention messages on this site
may address these topics. HIV prevention
materials funded by the CDC must be approved
by local program review panels. However, the
materials may be considered controversial by
some viewers.
